I am a writer, curator and teacher. I was born in London and am currently living in Oxford and near the Aveyron in southern France. I am Senior Lecturer in Contemporary Art Theory at Oxford Brookes University. My teaching posts have included Bauhaus University, Weimar; Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam; Open University and Dartington College of Arts.
My first novel, Almodis: The Peaceweaver was published in 2011 by Impress Books. I am working on a second novel set in 10th century France and Norway. See http://traceywarrfiction.wordpress.com for further details on my fiction.
I have developed a mode of writing with contemporary artists as opposed to about them. See RIVER RUNS, MOSCOW BLOG and OUTLANDIA for details on my current art projects. See Category: WRITING for a selection of my published and unpublished texts.
See the CV link on the right of this page for my detailed Curriculum Vitae.
